Revelation

Someone recently asked me how many quilts I completed in 2010. It was a slight exaggeration when I said 2 since I technically didn't finish the binding on my husband's til last week. It prompted me to look through this blog and discover that I have 2 entries titled "Slowly but surely." Um. That's embarrassing. I started this whole thing hoping it would increase my production. Apparently it hasn't yet! But maybe that's what January is for. I decided to work on my parents quilt every day. Even if it is just for 20 minutes. Everyday. I promise I won't post pictures of every 20 minutes worth of work but that's what you get today.

In other news, I was super crafty and productive right before Christmas but I can't prove it cause I left my camera at a friends back home. Grrrr. I also have some quilt inspiration in the works. A book from amazon is on it's way because this is storybook quilts afterall. And another one that will be an homage to my favorite city. More on that later.

So how's the resolution going? Perhaps I should match your 20 minute resolve with 20 minutes per day on the embroidery I promised David! Caty's great-Grandma has already finished TWO pillowcases that I gave her to work on... perhaps I should hire her!

surprisingly well! i've been at it for 4 days and quilted 3 of them. and the only day i didn't quilt, i went in to portland for a guild meeting. of course, in order to do this, it's taking up half the couch cause i don't want to put it away.
